Donald takes a core sample from the front yard of a family who’s land was declared remediated and were subsequently paid around 0 in compensation. In some instances, accepting any amount of compensation unwittingly enters the landowners into a binding contract that transfers ownership from the recipient to the donor; namely an oil company.
